Workspaces & Domains
Workspaces
Section titled “Workspaces”A workspace is a container for your forms, submissions, team members, and integrations. You might create one workspace per client, per project, or per environment.
When you sign up, a default workspace is created for you. You can create additional workspaces from the dashboard.
Creating a workspace
Section titled “Creating a workspace”- Open your dashboard.
- Click New Workspace.
- Give it a name (e.g., “Acme Corp” or “Personal Site”).
Client workspaces
Section titled “Client workspaces”You can create workspaces for your clients and invite them as members. If a client upgrades their plan through your workspace, you receive a percentage of the sale — making it easy to bundle Formtress into your freelance or agency offering.
Domains
Section titled “Domains”Each workspace has a domain allowlist. When configured, Formtress will only accept submissions originating from your listed domains. This prevents bad actors from submitting forms using your Form ID from other websites.
Adding domains
Section titled “Adding domains”- Open your workspace settings.
- Find Authorized URLs.
- Add each domain you want to allow (e.g.,
example.com,example.webflow.io).
How it works
Section titled “How it works”When a submission comes in, Formtress checks the request origin against your domain allowlist. If the origin doesn’t match any allowed domain, the submission is rejected before any processing or integration triggers.
